He was the founder of Radioplane, a company that manufactured drones for military purposes during World War II. Near the end of the war, he allowed photographers to photograph inside his factory. The employee, Norma Jean, caught the attention of the photographers, and she was attracted to work in Hollywood. That employee later became Marilyn Monroe, the famous Hollywood star.
Son of actor and singer W.H. Denny and brother of actor Malcolm Denny.
