An American actor who was born in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA on October 7, 1921 and died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA on May 9, 2004. He won a Golden Boot award in 2003 for his work in Western films. He married two wives and got two children. His best works include 77 Sunset Strip (1963), Wyoming Roundup (1952), This Is Alice (1958), and The Strip (1951). He became a well-known comedian who made more than 100 films and TV series between 1944 and 1983 - the golden age of Hollywood. He joined the Saint John Military Academy in Los Angeles and was a student in drama at the University of Arizona. He served in the US Army Air Force during World War II and appeared on Broadway in a number of musicals before working in cinema, especially in films of the American West. He made his first appeared in the movie, Winged Victory (1944), and his last work was Hart to Hart (1983). He died in 2004 at the age of 82.
