An American actor born in Boston, Massachusetts, USA on February 2, 1899 and died in Los Angeles, California, USA on July 15, 1986 from a heart attack. He married Mary Bolt (1927-1934) and had a daughter before they divorced, and in 1940, he married Beatrice Dallinger. His most important works are Torch Song (1953), I Love Lucy (1955), Income Tact (1929), and The Girl Friend (1935). He was an American comedian and film actor who appeared in more than 200 radio, television, and film productions over 50 years. He was famous for his ability to imitate many dialects, and he played in the vaudeville theater. He showed his talents on the radio. His first work was Daisies Won't Yell (1928), and his last work was the series Glitter (1985). He died of a heart attack in 1986 at the age of 87.
