An American actor, born in Chicago, Illinois, USA on January 12, 1897 as Thomas Arthur Coleman. He died in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA on January 28, 1959. His most important works are It's a Wonderful Life (1946), Citizen Kane (1941), Notorious (1946), and The Killing (1956). He left his profession and went to work in cinema in extra roles , where he played the roles of gambler, waiter, house manager, reporter, Taxi driver, officer, guard, city man, manager of a salon, nightclub or bar, investigator, spectator of shows, and elevator operator. His first work was Bullets or Ballots (1936), and his last work was The True Story of Lynn Stuart (1958). He died in 1959 at the age of 62.
