She was a leading actress in Western films and a small actress in other films during the 1930s and 1940s. She was a department store model before working in films as a model in Roberta (1935), and she appeared with her husband, actor Ralph Bird in Dick Tracy Returns (1938). Her first Western film was A Tenderfoot Goes West (1936). She died in 2009 at the age of 95.
