American actress, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on March 31, 1935. She was married and had one child. She was film and television actress, singer, and dancer. She was born the youngest of three children to parents of Norwegian-Austrian-Hungarian descent. Her debut on the cinema screen was in the movie Ginger in 1946. In 1950, her family moved to Hollywood, and when she was sixteen she joined a dance troupe. After graduating from Hollywood High School, she played her role as a singer on tour with the composer Jimmy McHugh and his band. She retired after performing an episode of The Addams Family in 1966. Her most important works are: Matinee Theater in 1956, Island of Lost Women in 1959, and High School Confidential! in 1958. She died in Valley Springs, California, on October 9, 2018.
