First Palestinian movie in Egypt “Noktet Tahawol” or “Turning Point”

The first Palestinian movie that was entirely filmed in Palestine “Noktet Tahawol”, the Egyptian theaters are preparing to receive it. The Palestinian Anas Abu Saeda wrote the story and financed its production, the script and dialogue for the Palestinian Selim Dabbour, also starring Palestinian actors and directed by the Palestinian Refaet Aady.Abu Saeda was one of those who participated in the first intifada in Palestine and he knows the suffering of the Palestinian people, and that is why he made the first cinematic experience without waiting for a financial profit, it was for a national purpose.He explained that through the story of the film he tried to show what was really happening under the occupation in Palestine that many people does not know in its real form, pointing out that what was presented in cinema before, did not cover the whole fact and added that he is trying to deliver a Palestinian perspective of the people of Palestine.He expressed his sorrow towards what he found from obstacles and difficulties of the occupation during filming the movie and after, which was in the cities of Bethlehem, Beit Jala and Beit Sahour in the West Bank.On the other hand, the film is being edited in Cairo by the Egyptian partner “Finger Print Company” to be ready in the Egyptian movie theaters after 8 weeks.
