Three “Red Lines” between Al Sakka and next Ramadan.

Actor Ahmed El Sakka is currently involved in many workshops related to his new television series “Red Lines”. He is discussing details along with director Ahmed Shafik along with script writer Ahmed Mahmoud Abu Zeid. This is an exciting come back for Al Sakka after many years of avoiding television productions.Abu Zeid has in fact completed 10 episodes of the series, and is waiting for the filming to resume. He is scheduled to complete all the episodes by January 2012 in order for the series to play during Ramadan 2012.In a statement to Al Masry Al Yoom newspaper Abu Zeid explained that the idea of the series is about the red lines that each person draws for himself and the struggle from within to maintain those red lines. He added that the series portrays 3 personalities and approaches in dealing with those red lines. A committed person who follows ethics and religion and does not cross the lines at all, the intermediate personality that struggles to stop itself from crossing the boundaries and the outlaw who is continuously crossing the lines.Ahmed Al Sakka had declined many television series until he finally agreed to do the role in “Red Lines”, costarring with Ahmed Al Sakka is Ghada Adel, Ahmed Rizk, Ahmed El Sadaany and Dina Fouad.
