Ken Loach: Language is censored in "The Angel's share" despite the British obsession with dirty language

A press conference was held for "The Angel's share" participating in the official competition of Cannes Film Festival.The conference was attended by director Ken Loach, writer Paul Laverty and the stars of the film. Loach compared this film with his 1960s film "Kes" assuring that the main character of his new film is similar to that in the old one, as both needed triggers for them to discover their inner talent.He was confused why would the censorship edit out some of the language in the film even though he things that the middle class in England love the dirty language. Also, the film producer Rebecca O'Brien said that they altered some sentences in the film to make it suitable for those above 15 years of age.Laverty summarized the film's plot in a guy's quest to overcome difficulties despite economic crisis and unemployment.
