Zurich Film Festival's Golden Icon is Richard Gere.

Honored for his lifetime achievements; Golden Globe winning actor Richard Gere will receive The Zurich Film Festival Golden Icon.Zurich will honor Gere on 23 September where he will present his latest drama directed by Nicholas Jarecki "Arbitrage" with Suzan Suranden, Brit Marling and Tim Roth.On the other hand, the festival's opening night will witness the screening of "Savages" for John Travolta who will receive Golden Eye Honor award.Zurich Film Festival will launch on 20 September and last for thirty days where the program will be revealed on 6 September.
