"The Butler" Maintains His Lead of The Box Office For The Third Week

“The Butler” movie succeeded to stay on top in the box office of northern America, and that's for the third week in a row. “The Butler” added $20 million this week to its gross profits to reach $79.2 millions after three weeks in theaters.

The movie is starring Forest Whitaker, Joan Kozac, Jane Fonda, Opera Winfrey and Mila Kunis. it's about Yugene Alain, head of servants in the White House, who served eight consecutive presidents from 1956 to 1986.

“One Direction: This Is Us” which came second in the box office in its first week in theaters. The movie collected $18 million. The movie is about the famous band and their rise in singing world.

In its fourth week in theaters, “We're The Millers” retreated to the third place after loosing the second place for “One Direction.” The movie collected $15.9 million reaching $112.8 million of gross profits.

The animation movie “Planes” came fourth with gross profits of 73.7 million dollars while the fifth position was reserved to the new movie “Instructions Not Included” which collected $10 million in its first week.

Matt Damon's “Elysium” came sixth, adding 8.3 million dollars to its profits. “The Mortal Instruments” came just after, collecting $6.8 million.

“Th World's End” retreated to the eighth place collecting 6 million dollars while Percy Jackson: “Sea Of Monsters” came in the 9th place. $5.5 millions were enough for “Getaway” to take the 10th place starring Ethan Hawk and Selena Gomez.
