Dancer and performance artist, Dina said during her interview with Wafaa El Kilany on her show “Osr El Kalam,” aired on MBC Misr, that she doesn't care about people's look to her as a belly dancer. She pointed that she acted and danced in the same year then she performed on theater stage, assuring that she's satisfied and convinced with her work and doesn't need anybody's approval for what she's doing.

Dina said that she worked with remarkable artists in Egypt like Adel Imam, Hussein Fahmy and Alaa Wali El Din. She added that Athar El Hakeem once commented on her outfit in a joint drama work but she was never the reason for El Hakeem's retirement. Dina commented that an artist like Zubaida Tharwat is not capable or able to judge her Art but she can respect Taheya Karyoka's opinion in her work.

Talking about other dancers, Dina said that Fefi Abdu and Lucy have different dancing styles. She noted that she expected to have a distinguished place in the performance world as every generation has its own belly dancer. She also talked about her all time wish to establish a syndicate for dancers without having the intention to head or manage this syndicate. Dina stressed the fact that she was never harassed or was a reason behind the increase of harassment in Egypt.

About loosing her friendship with media star Mahmoud Saad, she said that she was right about her position from the famous interviewer as what he did was a personal offense to herself, adding that she might forgive him if he apologized for what he did. Dina also revealed that she has some troubles dealing with some reporters, mainly for what they write about her but in the same time she has some friendly relations with other reporters.

Dina concluded by saying that she's a well to do woman with a reasonable easy life, but other people are suffering and demanding Mubarak's return to power. She added that, like many Egyptians she cannot see any president of Egypt but Mubarak.
