After he used the statement on twitter a month ago, actor Shia LaBeouf posed for photographers on Berlin Film Festival's red carpet in a stylish tuxedo – and a paper bag with eyeholes and the words "I am not famous anymore" written across it, after the screening of the “extended” cut of Lars Von Trier's “ Nymphomaniac,” in which he plays a role.

LaBeouf started stirring controversy earlier the same day, in the press conference that followed the film's screening. When Asked about his decision to star in a movie with so many sex scenes, he bent low over the microphone and replied: “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea....Thank you very much!” He then got up, pushed the mic away and stormed out of the conference, leaving the rest of the cast and the audience astonished.

LaBeouf has announced his retirement from public life last January, as a response to claims accusing him of the plagiarism of a graphic novel and turning it into a short film written and directed by him.

The screening of Nymphomaniac's director's cut was attended by the film's director Lars von Trier, and the film's cast, including Stellan Skarsgard, Christian Slater and Uma Thurman.
