Khaled tries to mend ties with his father and to revive his relationship with his former lover only to learn that his efforts are in vain as his previous love is on the verge of leaving Alexandria herself while his relationship with his father has reached a point from which progress seems impossible. Whilst walking the streets of Alexandria Khaled meets other youths that enjoy singing. Some sing hip hop on the sidewalks while others play rock & roll on the rooftops of old buildings. Still others draw graffiti on the walls facing streets and alleys. It’s not long before the story of those youths intertwines with Khaled’s and thus he discovers himself once again through the world of art and music.
