Miley Cyrus is Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana and she is joined by Emily Osment, Jason Earles, Billy Ray Cyrus and other talents. The film was directed by Peter Chelsom and the screenplay is credited to Dan Berendsen. Miley Stewart is finding it difficult to juggle her personal life and her immense popularity as Hannah Montana. Moreover, a petty dispute with Tyra Banks together with the pursuit of an overly eager tabloid reporter serve to push things over the edge. Miley’s single father – Robby – thus forces his daughter to take a trip back to her hometown of Crowley Corners, Tennessee.
