Aaron Johnson, now Aaron Taylor-Johnson, is an English actor born in 1990 in Buckinghamshire, England. He began performing at age six, and soon got small bits on television series and commercials. In his short career, he's scored roles in films like "The Illusionist" (2006), the angsty teen flick based on the best-selling books "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging" (2008), "Nowhere Boy" (2009) in which he stars as the Beatles gravitational center John Lennon, and "Kick Ass" (2010). He met his wife, visual artist and director Sam Taylor-Wood, who is 23 years his senior, when she directed him in "Nowhere Boy." They married in 2012, and took the shared name Taylor-Johnson. He stars in 2012's Oscar-nominated "Anna Karenina" based on Leo Tolstoy's seminal novel.
