He was a familiar face in British television and prolific during the sixties. Philip was nominated for the 2013 IIFC Award for Best Actor in a Short Film. Among his most important works are: The Count of Montecristo (1964), The Monsters (1962), The Avengers (1962-1968), and The Bourne Identity (1988).He died in 2012 at the age of 77.
